On Saturday, 6 June, technology and yachting connoisseurs were invited to the unveiling of the Majesty 155, Gulf Craft’s flagship superyacht. Archimedia has partnered with Gulf Craft since 2013, resulting in a host of highly sought after creative ventures from small charter boats to 135 feet yachts. For the Majesty 155, Archimedia worked alongside Gulf Craft for the complete Audio Visual fit out of the displacement super yacht made of composite material.
The Automation Control System in the Majesty 155 uses on-wall and iPad controls running Savant control – that are strategically located throughout the yacht. The graphical user interface allows the owner to control audio and video distribution throughout the yacht. System installed features Bowers & Wilkins and Sonance ceiling speakers, smart full HD LED TVs from 40” to 65”. Kaleidescape movie server, Apple TV and Satellite receivers as the yacht’s main inputs.
Innovative but always functional, each yacht is not only high specification in terms of its technical make-up, but requires thorough care to structural and technological detail. Archimedia emulates a strong bond between design and tradition, ensuring the brand is always trending on the cusp of what’s next in audiovisual technologies to create the most seamless and immersive sound and experience. Spanning the Middle East, Archimedia’s state of the art experience centers which can be found in the UAE, Cairo, Beirut, Riyadh, Hyderabad and Casablanca provide visitors with a real-world example of the incredible features, with lighting, sound and entertainment fully automated and controlled at the touch of a button. These are presented in set-ups that emulate the rooms in a stylish home and office vibe including and a fully functional dedicated home cinema.
Majesty 155 Performance
Opulent in style and elegant in design, the Majesty 155 also boasts exceptional performance. The power of twin 2,011 hp MTU 12V 4,000 M63 engines provide excellent fuel efficiency and an ability to cover a range of over 4,200nm with an approximate maximum speed of 16 knots. Massimo GregoriGrgič, of Yankee Delta Studio in Italy, is responsible for the naval architecture of the Majesty 155.
The Majesty 155’s hull design allows for low fuel consumption, long-range capability, and incredible comfort. The 9.60 m beam gives large space inside and allows for an even greater stability. The hull design was tank-tested in Italy, and the actual ship proves to perform above all expectations. She is easy to handle, stable, and quiet, leaving minimum wakes behind.
